PACKAGING

In my third semester, I created Drehzeug, one of the world's first Fair Trade tobacco brands. This project showcases the journey from growing and farming to fire-curing and hand-packing our tobacco, resulting in a limited annual production. Drehzeug's packaging is made from Stonepaper, a revolutionary type of paper that doesn’t require cutting down any trees. Made from calcium powder, it is tear, water, and heat resistant, biodegradable, and sustainably produced. The zip-lock ensures the tobacco retains its moisture and aroma, while our magnetically sealed papers protect them from external influences. There are three blended tobacco flavors: Light, Medium, and Strong, each providing a rich and well-rounded taste. Our papers come in two types: Fine and Extrafine, designed for maximum enjoyment.
