In my fourth semester, I came up with a campaign for the World Wildlife Fund highlighting the devastating effects of deforestation on wildlife. Most documented land-based species live in forests. When these forests are destroyed, the animals lose their homes and struggle to survive in the remaining fragmented habitats. This makes them more vulnerable to hunters and poachers, leading to dwindling populations and, in some cases, extinction. Even localized deforestation can have catastrophic effects, as many unique species exist in small, isolated locations. Our campaign aimed to raise awareness about this urgent issue and encourage action to protect forest habitats. (Source: worldwildlife.org)
